pr
corner:
Below are some recent PRs (personal records)
set by Ozarks area runners. These are listed in two categories:
(1) actual-time PRs and (2) WAVA PRs (compare your recent times to your old PRs using the
WAVA calculator to see if you have a WAVA PR--read
more about WAVA). If you achieve a PR (actual or WAVA), email
Richard Johnson ASAP with the
information as shown below.
Each month, we will have a drawing for one $25 gift
certificate for every ten PR performances for that month
(we are glad to list any Ozark runner's PR, but you
must be a current
OMRR member to win the gift
certificate).
Note that the
first time you run a race of a given distance, that is
also a PR. Let us know about it!
Great job, people!
We
had 7 PRs set in

training plan?
Let's say one of your New
Year's resolutions is to run faster races in 2010. Give
yourself a
$25 three-month training plan from
pleasehelpmerun.com. This is a custom plan
based on your schedule, your abilities, and your goals
(much better than a generic plan from halhigdon.com, by
the way). See a sample training plan in the video
at
pleasehelpmerun.com. -
listen up runners!
OMRR gives away about $2000 a year in gift
certificates to our members (for Triple Crown, PR Corner,
ROTY, the newsletter, OMRR banquet, or just
for being a member), BUT you have to claim your prize by
paying attention to this web site or by signing up for
our e-Newsletter. If you don't claim the prize, you
don't get it (I'm not going to hunt you down). Contact
Richard Johnson if you would like to be on our
e-Newsletter email list (your email address will NOT
be shared with anyone else).
Note: You can be on our email
list whether you are an OMRR member or not.
