set by Ozarks area runners. These are listed in two categories:
(1) actual-time PRs and (2) WAVA PRs (compare your recent times to your old PRs using the
WAVA calculator to see if you have a WAVA PR--read
more about WAVA). If you achieve a PR (actual or WAVA), email
Richard Johnson ASAP with the
exact
information shown below.
Each month, we will have a drawing for one $25 gift
certificate for every ten PR performances for that month
(we are glad to list any Ozarks runner's PR, but you
must be a current
OMRR member to win the gift
certificate).
Note that the
first time you run a race of a given distance, that is
also a PR. Let us know about it!

how many state marathons do you have?
Here
is a
listing of SW MO runners who are members of the
50 States Marathon Club.
To join this club you need at least 10 states and $10. When you
do so, keep
Richard Johnson posted and he will update the list.

Orleans on 2/28/10 in a time of 2:53:53, 3rd in his
age group. Great job, Richard!

Eric
Johnson, manager of The
Starting Block, completed his first Ironman
Triathlon (and his first marathon) in Arizona on
11/22/09. His time was 11 hours, 43 minutes
including a 4:08 marathon. His longest training run
was 6 miles! Way to go, Eric!

Long-time OMRR member
Bob "Dr. Evil" Dewar completed his
150th marathon on 12/27/09 at the Run for
the Ranch in Springfield, MO.
